Job Summary

The post holder will be accountable for the supervision of field-based staff within the Repairs Service, which undertakes approximately 15,000 repairs a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service operates throughout the district of rural Lincolnshire, covering 365 square miles and approximately 6000 council properties.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the operational team to promote a professional repairs service.
  2. Drive a culture of continuous improvement to enable the safe, effective, and efficient utilization of resources.
  3. Lead by example on Health and Safety, values and behaviors, and adherence to financial regulations.
  4. Provide supervision, administration, and organization of repair works to Council properties.
  5. Ensure that the Council’s property and estates are maintained in a safe condition, minimizing risk to the Council as Landlord.
