We currently have the opportunity for a Waste and Recycling Supervisor to join our Waste and Recycling Team. The Waste and Recycling Supervisor will be involved in all aspects supervising our operational waste and recycling workforce including recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
With excellent interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and a sound knowledge of waste operations and health and safety, they’ll ensure operational staff are working safely and effectively, as well as taking responsibility for investigating complaints, service failures and any other incidents.
Supported by the management team and working collaboratively with business support, this post holder will be part of finding and implementing innovative improvements so SKDC can deliver the highest possible standard of service to our residents. This is a varied and rewarding role that is central to the effective delivery of the Waste and Recycling Service. This role is not politically restricted.
