Role: Project Officer x2 (Housing Technical Service x1, Capital Projects x1)
Salary: SK12 (£37,467 per annum for both)
Contract: Permanent for Housing Technical Service, Fixed Term for 1 year for Capital Projects
Housing Technical Service:
To actively and effectively promote the Council’s vision, values, aims, objectives and priorities, putting our tenants first through the delivery of best value services.
To manage operational delivery of contracted planned works programmes to ensure smooth and efficient delivery and performance meets agreed targets.
To ensure that the Councils property and estates are maintained in a safe condition which minimizes risk to the council as a landlord.
Capital Projects:
To be responsible for the planned projects to Council General Fund assets.
To procure contractors and manage the capital funded contracts. To support the creation of the annual planned preventative maintenance budget and the preparation of capital bids.
The role reports to the Team Leader.
Neither of these roles are politically restricted.
