About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sonographer to joinour Radiology team at Nelson Hospital on a permanent part'time basis, working24 hours per fortnight (0.3 FTE).
In this role, you will deliver a safe, high'qualityultrasound service within a clinical environment, completing full examinationsand recommending appropriate techniques to support patient care.
This position involves rostered and rotating shifts Mondayto Sunday, with start and finish times between 8.00am and 9.00pm. There is noformal on'call requirement, however best'endeavours support may be required foracute criteria.

About you
You will bring:
- Experienceacross general, vascular, upper abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, andmusculo'skeletal ultrasound
- Registrationwith the NZMRTB along with a current Annual Practising Certificate inUltrasound
- Strongtechnical skills and sound clinical knowledge
- Well'developedcommunication and critical'thinking skills, with a commitment to family'centredcare
- Theability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- Astrong commitment to delivering high'quality healthcare
You will also be adaptable, versatile, and comfortableworking in a constantly changing clinical environment.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in NewZealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
