The role South Hampstead High School is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama to join a strong, dynamic and exciting Drama Department. You will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging and stimulating Drama lessons to highly motivated and talented students across the Senior School. There will also be opportunities to teach in the Junior School.

Drama is a vibrant and highly valued part of school life, offering students an exceptional range of academic and co-curricular opportunities. You will play an active role in the department's extensive programme of productions, theatre visits and festivals. This includes supporting the Sixth Form Theatre Company, whose work culminates in an annual visit to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as contributing to other festivals and accompanying theatre trips in the UK and internationally.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers with a strong track record, as well as from well-qualified Early Career Teachers and graduates who demonstrate a genuine passion for Drama and the Performing Arts. You will be capable of teaching Drama from Year 7 to Year 13 and be confident undertaking a variety of extra-curricular responsibilities. We will consider part-time (0.8) and full-time applicants.
