South Hampstead High School is looking for an exceptional classroom practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status to join our dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team in the Junior School. You will plan, prepare and deliver challenging, well-organised and stimulating lessons, using a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet pupils’ academic needs and expectations. You will also work with colleagues to create a positive culture of pupil welfare and behaviour, by playing an active role in pastoral matters.

We are looking for an individual who is experienced in planning and delivering the National Curriculum and willing to go above and beyond to provide the necessary pace and enrichment for our bright, motivated girls. You will either be a qualified teacher with a proven track record or a skilled graduate with a passion for teaching. You must also be able to demonstrate good, practical ICT skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues.

This position is offered on a one-year fixed-term basis in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
