Role
We are looking for an exceptional Art and Design Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status to join our teaching team at South Hampstead Junior School.
Responsibilities
- Inspire young learners through the delivery of creative and engaging lessons.
- Deliver teaching across a wide range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, textiles, felt making, silk painting, printing, ceramics, woodwork, graphic design and pottery.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, imagination and strong visual literacy skills.
- Contribute to the continued success of the department and a thriving, dynamic school community.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Previous experience of teaching Art and Design in a primary or junior school setting.
