We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Payroll and Pensions Officer. The information below provides more detail about the role. We offer great benefits including:

Purposes: Supporting the delivery of the payroll and pensions function for the Group ensuring compliance with legislation and a culture of high expectation and accuracy is embedded in all aspects of work. Under the supervision of the Group Manager - Payroll and Pensions, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely monthly and annual payroll cycles, including but not limited to:
- Entry and updating of payroll data.
- Monthly processing of payroll.
- Checking of payroll accuracy and timeliness.
- Answering customer enquiries.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience of providing a high standard of customer service.
- Experience of working in a payroll team.
- Experience in using a payroll system.
- Knowledge of latest payroll legislation and guidance.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages particularly Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant area- attained or working towards.
Ideal Attributes:
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and able to respond appropriately to difficult situations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised, able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
