We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated temporary Technician – Construction until August 2025. Duties: * To prepare materials and set up equipment for use in workshops.

To assist in the ordering and stock control of consumable items and equipment.

To give practical assistance to faculty staff and assist students in a supporting role when classes are in operation.

To assist with the area’s Health and Safety requirements which includes taking an active part in maintaining any applicable system. (e.g. Risk Assessments, maintaining Risk Assessment Logs and up-dating COSHH forms)

To assist in departmental administrative tasks which include cataloguing, filing, photocopying and labelling of resource materials.

To maintain good housekeeping standards in the working areas, including tidying the work area and ensuring all equipment is satisfactorily maintained.

To assist with the unloading of materials and equipment delivered to the College.

To make occasional purchases and collect materials which are required for lessons.

To support College Open events as required.
