Position Details

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Designated Teacher. The role involves:

• Managing safeguarding processes and providing support and guidance.
• Leading targeted interventions and pastoral support for learners with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
• Managing processes and records related to Looked After Young People and Care Leavers.
• Supporting the inclusion and development of Care Experienced students.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
• Experience supporting children and vulnerable adults, especially those in CLA and Care Leaver categories.
• Experience working with external agencies, statutory and voluntary.

• Psychology/education qualification or experience in safeguarding/wellbeing.
• Mental Health Qualification.
• Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent.
