Job Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming and professional front of house Reception Service for students, staff and visitors.
- Act as the first point of contact, handling enquiries from the public, students and staff in line with safeguarding protocols.
- Operate the college switchboard efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all callers.
- Provide excellent customer service across in-person, phone and digital channels.
- Respond to course enquiries accurately, clearly and within agreed time frames.
- Support admissions processes for 16-19, adult and Higher Education applications.
- Process student applications, ensuring accurate, secure data entry and maintenance.
- Produce reports from admissions systems and follow up with applicants on missing information.
- Coordinate interview arrangements, including issuing letters and maintaining applicant records.
- Assist with enrolment processes and student onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate records, statistics and electronic data in line with GDPR requirements.
- Complete administrative tasks to support admissions and reception services.
- Use and support college systems effectively.
- Work collaboratively within the team to deliver a high-quality applicant and student experience.
- Support college events such as Open Evenings, Welcome Days and Advice Sessions.
- Promote and uphold safeguarding responsibilities for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Demonstrate flexibility during peak periods (e.g. enrolment and events).
- Undertake additional duties as required, including working across college sites as needed.
