We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking AI Innovation Specialist to help shape and deliver our AI skills offer across apprenticeships, adult and community learning, online and commercial provision and employer-facing innovation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in translating emerging industry needs into high-quality, practical learning experiences that make a real difference to individuals, employers and communities.

In this outward-facing role, you will work with employers, partners and internal teams to identify AI skills needs and turn them into innovative, scalable provision. From designing new apprenticeship curriculum and employer masterclasses to piloting tailored learning solutions and building resources for wider rollout, you will help move ideas from concept to delivery at pace, reporting to the Director of Innovation, Skills & Externally Funded Projects.

This role would suit someone with experience in AI, digital innovation or technology-enabled learning, alongside a strong understanding of curriculum design and delivery. You will be confident working across multiple teams, building effective partnerships, and creating provision that is responsive, practical and aligned with cross-sector employer demand. A strong grasp of responsible AI, learner needs and the evolving skills landscape will be essential.

Partnerships and Reputation:

Ensure that the college develops and maintains a constructive relationship with appropriate external stakeholders relevant to the postholder's areas of responsibility.

Health and Safety:

Ensure that the Health and Safety policy and procedures operated by the college are adhered to and that all statutory requirements are met by all staff with postholder's areas of responsibility.
