We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber and Coding Online Trainer. The information below provides more detail about the role. We offer great benefits including:

Duties:
- To be accountable for maintaining a caseload of learners undertaking online courses and qualifications ensuring the delivery of training progress meets the requirements of the appropriate funding body, awarding body and the college.
- To assist in the education of students.
- To identify appropriate online learning programme and give appropriate Information, Advice and Guidance for the qualification.
- To deliver training and assessment on a range of qualifications together with underpinning knowledge.
- Delivery involves understanding schemes of work, and the production of learning materials and assessment plans, and any other related activities that impact on learning effectiveness.
- To feedback to learners in a timely manner on completed assessments ensuring the learners' knowledge and competence in the answers are of a high level.
- To access learners' assessments via our online learning platform where you will be required to assess work and provide robust and developmental written feedback to the learner.
- Agree an action plan with learner to identify key target dates to complete assessments.
- To liaise with learners by email/telephone to assist them with any questions that need revisiting for them to achieve and meet the learning outcomes for the course/qualification.
- To contact learners as and when required, e.g. pre-program, on-program and post-program work due dates, course completion, course achievement, etc.
Skills/Experience:
- Relevant Industry experience
- Experience of assessing in the relevant sector
- Ability to use IT for online training for a diverse range of learners
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft IT packages and software
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above (IT is desirable)
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification or equivalent
- Assessor award (A1 or equivalent) essential and a Verifier Award (V1 or equivalent) desirable
