As an Information Analyst, you will use your technical expertise and analytical skills to transform complex data into clear, concise reports and meaningful analysis. Your work will support the improvement of council services, strengthen service delivery, and contribute to better outcomes for adults in the community.
It will be your responsibility to analyse data and identify the causes and contributing factors behind both strong and underperformance across Adult Social Care services. Developing your existing knowledge of PowerBI, you will continue to develop your expertise, create and maintain dashboards, update apps, and connect to Mosaic via an SQL gateway. You will also work closely with service managers and teams, supporting them to make the most effective use of Power BI reports and dashboards.
You will contribute to, and at times lead on, the completion of Adult Social Care statutory returns, ensuring deadlines are met, while also responding to ad hoc requests such as Freedom of Information enquiries. Your analysis will inform important decision-making, including resource allocation and policy development across all service areas and client groups. You will provide elected members and senior leaders with accurate, reliable, and relevant management information, taking ownership of its quality and integrity.
Working collaboratively as part of a team, you will provide consistent and responsive reporting to support service needs. Under the guidance of a Senior Manager, you may contribute to key projects aimed at improving service performance and enhancing data quality.

- You will ideally have experience, or a willingness to develop skills, in report writing using MSSQL, alongside strong Excel capabilities and an interest in developing expertise in data extraction and visualisation using Power BI.
- It is key for you to have experience of working with stakeholders and partners, enabling you to gather requirements, solve problems, and demonstrate how data can be used to influence and improve services.
What you need to know:
- This is a one year limited term contract.
- It is a part time role with salary prorated to hours worked.
