As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Cambrian Green Day Centre. Through the delivery of high-quality cleaning services, you will ensure that all areas meet required hygiene standards and contribute to a positive experience for all service users, staff, and visitors.
Under the supervision of a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties, either independently or as part of a team. You will ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with Integras established cleaning schedules and meet agreed quality and performance standards.
You will carry out all cleaning tasks safely and effectively, always using the correct materials and equipment. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, maintaining washroom facilities, vacuuming, mopping, and operating floor polishing equipment. Regular handling and movement of cleaning tools and supplies is required, so you should be comfortable carrying out physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and lifting as part of your daily duties.
It is essential you are able to follow processes on the condition and safe storage of cleaning chemicals, and dispense, dilute and use chemicals in the correct method. We require you to have good organisational skills, enabling you to follow instructions correctly and complete tasks to an agreed standard. You will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, allowing you to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and site users.
The hours of work are 5:30pm - 7:00pm. You will be working 7.5 hours per week. Uniform & equipment will be provided. Salary is pro-rated to hours worked.
