How You\’ll Make a DifferenceAs an Administrator, you will be supporting the StreetCare team by providing efficient, responsive and high quality administrative tasks. The team delivers services across the community, from managing the roads, designing and building major road schemes, to gritting the roads in winter and sweeping the streets. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in the place we live in to join an established team supporting South Gloucestershire.

What You Will Be Doing

Providing administrative support to the team and its customers, ensuring work carried out is efficient and procedures are effectively implemented.

Undertaking relevant administration tasks, such as raising invoices and purchase orders, chasing unpaid invoices, taking payments over the telephone and processing requests for licences and services.

Answering enquiries and information requests that arrive via telephone and online.

Collating information, maintaining accurate records and preparing documents and other materials using established formats, software and procedures.

What We Need From You

Hold five GCSEs (grade 4 or above) including English and maths, a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable experience in a similar administration role.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact in an effective and efficient manner.

Good knowledge of IT, with experience of various Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

What You Need To Know

This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office in Broad Lane, Yate and from home.

We have two full time, permanent positions to fill.
