Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for English and Maths students, supporting communication and engagement across study programmes
- Provide administrative support to curriculum teams to enable effective delivery of English and Maths provision
- Coordinate and support educational visits and trips, including documentation and financial processes
- Monitor and track departmental finances, ensuring accurate records and compliance with College procedures
- Maintain and manage curriculum and performance data, including information required for moderation and quality assurance
- Organise and maintain departmental documentation and shared resources
- Use Microsoft Teams to communicate updates, opportunities, and key information to students
- Support and contribute to departmental planning and strategy, working collaboratively with curriculum leads and wider teams
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role, ideally within an education setting
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands
- Confidence in interpreting, managing, and tracking data, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
