Location: Filton campus (with some travel to other campuses)
FTE Salary: Up to £34,416.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: Up to £31,938.00
Contract Type: Permanent, term‑time only
Working Hours: 37 hours a week, 38 weeks a year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assessing learners for exams access arrangements and completing the associated administrative tasks
- Providing departmental training in the college EAA process
- Delivering high quality one‑to‑one or small group lessons using a range of multisensory approaches in Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths
- Preparing engaging, accessible learning materials, including digital resources
- Building bespoke learning plans tailored to individual needs to promote independent learning
- Monitoring learner achievement and engagement
- Collaborating effectively with course tutors, the Exams team, and parents/carers to support student success
- Training students in the use of assistive technology
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- L7 Exams Access Arrangements qualification (CCET and C3PTA)
- PGCE or alternative teaching qualification
- Level 5 or above qualification in teaching learners with specific difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia or ADHD
- Excellent knowledge of the GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths examination syllabi
- Knowledge of Exam Access Arrangements
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and students
- Supportive and encouraging attitude within the department and organisation
