How you'll make a difference
As an Administrator/Note Taker, you will provide essential support to our Safeguarding Adults team, helping us deliver the best possible services for local people.
You will be responsible for coordinating meetings, accurately recording minutes and notes during confidential and sensitive meetings and ensuring these are distributed appropriately in a timely manner.
- What you will be doing
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, you will prepare and coordinate adult safeguarding meetings.
- Attending meetings both virtually and in person at venues across South Gloucestershire, you will take clear, accurate and detailed notes, often covering sensitive and confidential discussions.
- You will ensure that all information is recorded accurately on the central computerised system, with meeting minutes shared promptly with the appropriate recipients.
- Monitoring and prioritising incoming work through a shared mailbox and internal systems, you will ensure all documentation is handled correctly and processed within required timescales.
- What we need from you
- We require you to hold three GCSE's (grade 4 or above) or an equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant experience in office administration.
- Given the nature of this role, strong minute-taking skills are essential, along with the ability to produce clear, accurate and well-formatted documents using Microsoft Office.
Confidence in maintaining and updating computerised record systems is also required.
- It is essential that you can manage and prioritise workload effectively, work on your own initiative and meet deadlines.
- You will have strong communication skills and experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

- This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office and at home.
- You will be expected to travel to other offices so you must have a full, valid driving licence with regular access to a vehicle or have an alternative means of travel.
