South Gloucestershire Council is seeking an Independent Reviewing Officer to chair statutory reviews and oversee care planning for children in care.

The role ensures meetings are conducted with independence, and that plans progress within timescales while prioritising the child’s voice and rights.

You will scrutinise multi-agency planning, challenge practice where needed, and support improvements in outcomes for children in care, care leavers and young people transitioning to adulthood.
