Join Our Team as a Business Administrator – Commercial and Sales! Are you an organised, customer-focused professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? South Essex College is on a mission to grow its commercial course offerings, apprenticeships, and client base, and we\’re seeking a Business Administrator – Commercial and Sales to join our Business Development team.

Location: Luckyn Lane, Basildon
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours/week (Monday-Friday)
Salary: Support Staff Banding

What You\’ll Do:

1. Ensure a seamless experience for clients, from booking to post-course completion.
2. Manage bookings, process payments, and maintain accurate CRM records.
3. Support marketing efforts for training courses and attend events as needed.
4. Collaborate with the Head of the Adult College on administrative tasks to meet client expectations.
5. Communicate professionally with clients, providing information and resolving queries.
6. Monitor course outcomes and ensure timely registration and certification.
7. Research and propose innovative ideas to boost sales and awareness of our courses.

What We\’re Looking For:

1. Proven experience in business administration and excellent organisational skills.
2. Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a focus on customer service.
3. Competence in time management and attention to detail.
4. A business administration qualification (desirable but not essential).
5. Professional, approachable demeanour with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
