We are looking for a committed professional with expertise in IT to teach within the Business and A Level curriculum. The successful applicant will be required to teach on the L3 Computing and IT BTEC Nationals as part of the Computing A Level Pathway and L3 Information Technology provision.
Key responsibilities and qualifications:
- Teaching and assessment of L3 Computing and IT BTEC Nationals, including Programming Fundamentals, Computer Network Security and Encryption, Human‑Computer Interaction and Practical Programming.
- Assist in the selection, induction, teaching and assessment of students.
- Act as a course team leader/subject leader and personal tutor as required.
- Carry out cover duties across the wider faculty if asked.
- Work based at our Thurrock campus.
Expected start date: September 2026.
