South Essex Colleges Group has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Employer Engagement Executive to join our expanding Apprenticeships Team.
About the Role
As part of our dynamic employer engagement and sales function, you will play a key role in promoting the College Group's full portfolio of apprenticeship and commercial training opportunities to employers across Essex and beyond. You'll build relationships with new and existing employers, identify training needs, and work closely with curriculum and delivery teams to match those needs with high-quality training solutions. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role requiring strong organisational and communication skills, excellent customer focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
About You
- Proven experience in customer service, business development, or sales (preferably in education or training, though not essential)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with employers, learners, and stakeholders
- Strong digital and administrative skills, with an eye for marketing and attention to detail
- A proactive, positive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A sound understanding of the further education and apprenticeship landscape is desirable, though full training will be provided
The role involves travel between campuses, employer visits, networking events, and other external meetings – therefore, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
