South Essex College is hiring temporary enrolment assistants to support the busy student enrolment period. Applicants should have good IT literacy, customer service skills and/or data input experience. Assistants will work closely with the college information services team and gain valuable work experience in two main areas: “Meet and Greet” duties and data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with student enrolment procedures, including meet-and-greet duties.
- Enter and verify enrolment data accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer queries and provide support during the enrolment period.
- Maintain accurate records and assist the information services team as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Good IT literacy and basic computer skills.
- Experience in customer service and/or data input.
- Flexibility to work at the Luckyn Lane Campus and potential alternate locations.
- Available on 12 and 13 Aug 2026 for training and throughout the enrolment period. Only emergency leave will be authorised during the enrolment period.
Training & Schedule
- Training will take place on 12 and 13 Aug 2026 at Grays Campus.
- The summer enrolment period runs from 10 Aug to 4 Sep 2026.
- Additional hours may be added closer to the enrolment date.
