Overview
Tutor, Workforce adult skills 37hrs per week, 52 weeks per year. Southend Campus. We are looking for a motivated, multi-skilled Tutor to help deliver a range of training programmes in a fast-paced environment to help the unemployed get into work. Applicants must be in possession of a level 3 teaching or training qualification and should be confident in teaching short programmes in relation to the workplace such as customer service, health and safety, conflict management, employability skills and problem solving. Teaching basic IT from entry level to level 1 also forms part of this vacancy; applicants must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of training programmes to help the unemployed get into work.
- Teach short workplace-related programmes such as customer service, health and safety, conflict management, employability skills and problem solving.
- Teach basic IT from entry level to level 1 with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Occupy a 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year schedule at Southend Campus.
Qualifications
Level 3 teaching or training qualification.
