We have an exciting opportunity within the School of Service Industries. We are looking for a lecturer within the health curriculum area, teaching on our nursing and health Level 1 and Level 3 programmes. The ideal candidate would preferably have experience of teaching in the FE sector, but this is not essential as it can be worked towards while in employment with us.

Responsibilities

  • Teach on health/nursing Level 1 and Level 3 programmes, delivering practical units in health qualifications.
  • Assess learners and provide formative and summative feedback to help them progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents/carers and other stakeholders to support learner outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant industry-based experience enabling the teaching of practical units within health qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Experience or willingness to work towards FE teaching qualifications, if not already held.
