The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Approximately 21 hours per week – term time only, (Hourly Paid).

South Essex Colleges Group (SECG) is the largest provider of technical and vocational education and training for 16–18-year-olds, adults and apprenticeship provision within Essex – and we are growing!

We are looking for an enthusiastic person as an assistant at our Southend City College which is part of South Essex Colleges Group to support our Pre 16, home educated learners who have come to the college for part of their home education due to struggling with mainstream school.

The right candidate will be caring and empathic; you will support tutors and students throughout their teaching day and will supervise the students during lunch and breaks. You will be required to implement the behaviour policy, ensuring the security, safety, welfare and good conduct of learners within your care.

The right candidate will have experience in working with 14-16 year olds, along with a good level of communication skills and excellent organisational and administrative skills, recognising behaviour giving cause for concern.
