The predicted salary is between 36910 - 40000 £ per year.

This role will provide planned and reactive maintenance to the Fabric and M&E services throughout the College estate. The position will be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the estate and their buildings to a high standard, undertaking a variety of planned and preventative, and also reactive maintenance duties using a wide range of resources. The role will be line managed by the Managing Engineer (Building Services) and will involve close working with other Maintenance staff and other key Estates staff. The post holder will have previous experience of working with both Fabric and M&E services and be willing to work towards a professional qualification e.g. Plumbing, if not already held.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and refurbishment across all College sites.
  • Be involved in small to mid-range refurbishment works.
  • Provide emergency breakdown cover in the first instance to College plant.
  • Be multi-skilled with the ability to respond to both Fabric and M&E works.
  • Undertake repairs and service.
