About the role
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of FE electrical programmes, including Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.
- Teach both theory (electrical principles, regulations, and design) and practical skills (installation, testing, and fault-finding) in fully equipped workshops.
- Assess learners’ progress through practical assessments, written assignments, and exams, providing constructive feedback to help them excel.
- Keep your teaching current by integrating the latest industry standards, such as the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and emerging technologies like renewable energy systems.
- Support learners with career guidance, employability skills, and preparation for industry placements or apprenticeships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and share best practice.
- What You'll Bring
- A recognised qualification in Electrical Installation (Level 2 or above).
- Industry experience as an electrician or a similar role.
