JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the provision of care within Brook Care Home, a small home consisting of 20 beds.

Duties:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care home.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents, personalized care plans.
  • Supervise and train staff members.
  • Coordinate and monitor resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents\’ health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care.
  • Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
