JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the provision of care within Brook Care Home, a small home consisting of 20 beds.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care home.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents, personalized care plans.
- Supervise and train staff members.
- Coordinate and monitor resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents\’ health and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care.
- Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
