Southend on Sea City Council is seeking a dedicated SENDIASS Officer to support families of children and young people aged 0-25. This 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (22 hours over 3 days) includes face-to-face visits, phone and email advice, and casework on SEN support, statutory assessments, and mediation.
Hybrid working is available, with travel to nurseries, schools and community hubs. A driving licence is required; a strong SEND background and knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
