The Role

Providing sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to all areas for use in patient care, in accordance with Australian standards, NSW Health and local policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions developed by Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD) management.

Selection Criteria
- Essential flexibility to work within a 7 day, 24 hour rotating roster.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural working group.
- Current/recent experience of not less than 12 continuous months within a hospital based Sterilizing Services Unit.
- Possession of a Sterilizing Technology Certificate from a recognized Australian based registered tertiary training organisation.
