JOB PURPOSE
This Public Sector Apprentice Accounting Technician follows the same route as a Higher Level Apprentice (HLA) Accounting Technician, where you will undertake a two-year work contract with the College. You will work four days a week in the Finance department of the College and study one day a week within the College (joining the HLA course).
Once you successfully complete all of our exams and your two years\’ work experience, you will receive the Accounting Technician Ireland (ATI) Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians (Qualification number 600/0170/0). The fees for the Accounting Technician course are fully funded by SERC – you pay no fees (and are also paid for the day spent in the classroom).
The programme provides a real alternative to university and is perfect for anyone who prefers practical learning to full-time education.
