We currently have vacancies for our Creche Assistant Register.


JOB PURPOSE


Reporting to the Creche Manager the post-holder will work as part of the creche team to deliver high quality childcare and education for the children of SERC students.


ESSENTIAL ASSESSMENT CRITERIA



  1. Hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Children's Care, Learning and Development or Playwork Or Two years recent experience (within the last 5 years) of providing care for children aged 5 and under in a professional childcare setting

  2. Experience of working with children aged 5 years and underin a childcare setting (includes student placement setting).

  3. To be able to work effectively both independently and incollaboration with other practitioners.

  4. To be competent in the use of ICT to support record keeping in the setting.

  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
