Permanent Post, Lisburn Campus, 1FTE, 36 hours per week. We currently have a vacancy for a Lecturer in Electrical Installation.
JOB PURPOSE
To become a member of the teaching team in current courses of study and assist with future developments.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Hold GCSE English (Grade A-C) / Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication; and GCSE Maths (Grade A-C) / Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules
- Hold a full NVQ Level 3 or above apprenticeship in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Hold a Level 5 qualification in the relevant curriculum area or be prepared to obtain a Level 5 qualification within two years of appointment
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with Electrical Installations on domestic, commercial, or industrial contracts
- Currently qualified as an approved Assessor and hold an A1 award or be prepared to obtain an Assessor qualification
- Demonstrate excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and work independently, as well as work effectively as a team member
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and organise given tasks and objectives
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral
