Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of School the post-holder will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to lecturers/courses in the relevant curriculum area.

Essential Criteria

  • Have completed a Level 3 or above apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery with certified documentation.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ post apprenticeship experience working in the Carpentry & Joinery industry.
  • Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience using woodworking machines in a workshop environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety in a workshop environment.
  • Demonstrate effective organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrate competence in the use of Microsoft Office package.
