We're looking for friendly and skilled Plumbers to join our team based in Hampshire, Berkshire and Sussex. Do you have a talent for plumbing and a passion for water conservation? In this varied role you will be the go‑to person for all things plumbing – from fixing leaky pipes and replacing old systems to keeping internal plumbing running smoothly. You will also be a water‑saving champion, conducting Water Efficiency Audits, installing devices that help customers conserve water and sharing best tips for saving money and being eco‑friendly.
Main Responsibilities
- Take detailed records of the works for cost, measurement and quality.
- Produce accurate as‑built records for completed schemes.
- Assist in the supervision of site work, ensuring quality of workmanship, health, safety, programme compliance, cost efficiency and customer/client liaison.
- Confidently explain to customers what work is being carried out, leaving them with peace of mind.
- Ensure the team understands customer needs, manages expectations and handles queries and complaints fairly.
- Work as part of the Waterlink team, assisting both office and field functions when required, including other geographical areas.
- Put forward innovative solutions for Customer Side Leak repairs, seeking appropriate information and assessment methods.
- Deal with issues that arise effectively, seeking help when required.
- Implement plumbing works in accordance with best practice and all relevant regulations.
- Consider quality, environmental and Health and Safety policies on every project; routinely audit work to maintain standards.
- Report on progress and customer interactions; assist with new projects, reviewing plans and sites to help estimate costs.
- Provide emergency standby assistance when needed.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- Level 2 City and Guilds Plumbing Qualification.
- Strong operational and industry knowledge and experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Bonus if you have:
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card.
- WIAPS approved Plumber.
- Level 3 City and Guilds Plumbing qualification.
