As a Production Manager, you will step into a key leadership role within our operational management team, leading a dedicated group of process technicians to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant water treatment and production processes at our key operational sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage daily production activity and nurture your team by reviewing processes, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Operational Excellence: Take accountability for site reliability, performance, water quality, and resource control/usage metrics.
  • Health & Safety: Supervise, control, and take ultimate accountability for operational health and safety, promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budget setting, cost centre accountability, and financial performance.
  • Performance & Reporting: Measure and manage team performance (appraisals, KPIs, outcomes) and handle operational reporting (activity, attendance, exceptions).
  • Incident & Stakeholder Management: Provide expert management support during operational incidents and collaborate with fellow Operational Managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven Experience: Background in managing or supervising a production or operational site, with a strong track record of leading a team.
  • Industry Insight: Previous experience within the Water Industry is essential.
  • Problem‑Solving Skills: The ability to solve complex problems and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
  • Safety First Mindset: A deep understanding of and commitment to promoting a positive health and safety culture.
  • Mobility: A full, clean UK driver’s licence.
