South East Water is recruiting a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave and a new permanent vacancy in the Logistics Planning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Route Planning – architect and re‑plan HGV routes to ensure drivers use approved paths, maximise efficiency and avoid restricted areas.
- Workforce & Compliance Management – oversee driver rota, hours, breaks, rest periods, holidays and sickness, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Operational Documentation – create job packs for drivers, coordinate signatures, scanning and filing for audit compliance.
- Fleet Maintenance Oversight – coordinate MOTs, servicing and general maintenance, maintain detailed records and report to the Tanker Lead.
- Cross‑Departmental Liaison – act as link between distribution and production, raise planned and reactive work streams through the company management system.
- Emergency & Operational Excellence – manage scheduling in a fast‑paced environment, apply emergency response expertise to reactive scenarios.
