We are looking for a dedicated leader to take the helm of our Tankering Team, ensuring our fleet is always "incident-ready" and our safety standards remain at an all‑time high. As the HGV Driver Team Leader, you are the bridge between strategy and execution. You will ensure our drivers, systems, and vehicles don’t just meet industry standards—they set them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage the tanker driver team, overseeing planning, job pack completion, and performance KPIs.
  • Compliance & Safety: Conduct driver inductions, vehicle inspections, and safety checks. You’ll be responsible for risk assessments and maintaining audit‑ready defect reports.
  • Operational Readiness: Create and update contingency plans to ensure we hit planning thresholds during water supply interruptions.
  • Technical Oversight: Undertake tanker sampling, attend sites to troubleshoot issues, and ensure water hygiene standards are impeccable.
  • Personnel Management: Record driver infringements, handle disciplinary matters in liaison with HR, and foster a culture of accountability.
