Summary: As our Inventory Coordinator, you will serve as the operational hub for our Kent locations, centralising and refining regional procurement and inventory processes to keep daily operations running seamlessly. You will harness data analysis to standardise routines, eliminate tracking bottlenecks, and ensure critical parts, uniforms, and facilities consumables are properly allocated directly to the teams that need them. By replacing uncoordinated distribution with smooth, dependable supply workflows, you will play a vital role in preventing operational delays and driving reliability across all our sites. ***Please note this is a 1 year fixed term contract*** Main Responsibilities Manage day-to-day tasks efficiently to maintain consistent stock movement and organisation across all Kent sites with minimal daily supervision. Own the end-to-end procurement process for parts, facilities consumables, and uniforms, conducting regular audits of inventory and processes, to ensure order accuracy and keep site teams fully equipped. Execute site purchases via Purchase Orders (POs) or company credit card allocating to correct cost centres to ensure compliance with internal spending and approval policies. Reconcile monthly credit card statements against valid receipts to ensure accurate financial reporting. Monitor stock levels and distribution patterns to ensure inventory is accurately allocated to the correct individuals and teams. Analyse procurement and inventory data to identify spending trends, track usage, and establish optimal stock thresholds, to uncover cost-saving opportunities across our Kent operations. Collaborate with the management team to refine the inventory process, transforming data insights into structured, user-friendly operational workflows.Skills/Qualifications/Experience Proven background combining data analysis with hands-on store control, inventory management or procurement. High level of self-motivation with a track record of successfully managing workloads with minimal direct supervision. Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills with the ability to interpret raw purchasing data to improve processes. Proven organisational skills with experience managing receipts, budgets, and physical stock distribution. Solid experience managing commercial buying processes, including supplier management and PO systems. Good standard of secondary education and able to demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy skills.Benefits package: Excellent Stakeholder pension scheme, up to 10% employer contribution. 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays per annum, increasing to 6 weeks with length of service.
