Summary
As a Reliability Maintenance Technician (E&I), you will provide the essential technical expertise needed to maintain and repair our electrical and instrumentation equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation of our production sites.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake planned maintenance activities for electrical and instrumentation equipment as per the organisational strategy, including first‑line remedial work identified during tasks.
- Complete accurate and timely administration for planned maintenance and remedial work, updating our business and work management systems.
- Supervise contractors and external service providers, issuing Permits to Work where required.
- Carry out routine administration such as timesheets, health and safety forms, and vehicle record sheets.
- Assist with engineering capital works as needed.
- Support the Production team with confined space entries; BA training will be provided.
- Monitor and maintain site security, ensuring sites are clean and tidy upon completion of works.
- Drive company vehicles, including towing of plant and equipment.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- Qualified to the C&G or a relevant electrical/instrumentation technical qualification, preferably through a recognised apprenticeship scheme.
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- Relevant experience in maintenance of water‑specific production site assets.
- Solid technical knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment maintenance practices.
