As a Production Manager, you will step into a key leadership role within the operational management team, leading a dedicated group of process technicians to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant water treatment and production processes at our key operational sites. The Role: What You’ll Do
- Your focus will be on site reliability, performance, compliance, quality, and resource control.
- You will use your organisational skills to help your team perform at their best while remaining adaptable to handle operational challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activity and nurture your team by reviewing processes, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Take accountability for site reliability, performance, water quality, and resource control/usage metrics.
- Supervise, control, and take ultimate accountability for operational health and safety, promoting a positive safety culture.
- Oversee budget setting, cost centre accountability, and financial performance.
- Measure and manage team performance (appraisals, KPIs, outcomes) and handle operational reporting (activity, attendance, exceptions).
- Provide expert management support during operational incidents and collaborate with fellow Operational Managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
What You’ll Need
- Background in managing or supervising a production or operational site, with a strong track record of leading a team.
- Previous experience within the Water Industry is essential.
- The ability to solve complex problems and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
- A deep understanding of and commitment to promoting a positive health and safety culture.
- A full, clean UK driver’s license.
