This isn’t just about crunching numbers; it’s about ensuring the taps keep running across the South East. You’ll be the client-side expert, involved in everything from the first "what if" feasibility sketch to the final "it’s working" commissioning phase. Main responsibilities:
- Development of technical solutions and coordinating work with multi-disciplinary teams (Process, Civil and Mechanical).
- Production of technical reports and the ability to work independently and as a team member to carry out checking, reviews and approval of complex electrical detailed designs, to include calculations, specifications, reports and drawings.
- Analysis of options and selection of technical solutions as appropriate.
- Development of outline scheme designs.
- Ensuring contractors designs comply with the latest company specifications and other relevant industry specifications (Wimes, IET wiring regulations etc.) and legislations.
- Assistance in preparation of scheme programmes, estimates and tender documentation.
- On-site inspections and surveys.
- Construction supervision for small projects.
- Undertake designers responsibilities under the most appropriate Health and Safety Legislation under direction set out by the Discipline Lead.
- On-site inspection of works in accordance with standards and specifications and on site testing and commissioning.
- Design delivery under NEC Design.
