The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a member of our electrical team you will ensure our water keeps flowing by maintaining, repairing, and installing everything from intricate control panels to high‑capacity industrial pumps. No two days are the same in this varied and vital position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Installation: Repair, maintain, and install electrical plant and water treatment equipment (including control panels, pumps, motors, chemical dosing equipment, and water quality analysers).
  • Contractor Supervision: Liaise with, supervise, and work alongside external contractors undertaking works on‑site.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the wider Production team with specialised tasks, including confined space entries.
  • Compliance & Safety: Issue Permits to Work, adhere strictly to Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and Production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Asset Management: Update site operating manuals, monitor site security, and assist with engineering capital works.
  • Digital Administration: Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in our work management systems, alongside daily admin (timesheets, H&S forms, vehicle logs).
  • Emergency Support: Take part in a Standby rota to provide essential out‑of‑hours support to the operational area.

  • We need a proactive, highly organised individual who can work confidently under their own direction.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications: Electrically qualified to at least a Level 3 NVQ Diploma or equivalent (e.g., HNC, completed apprenticeship).
  • Experience: Previous electrical experience within an industrial, commercial, or domestic setting (industrial experience is highly advantageous).
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability in electrical fault‑finding and problem‑solving.
  • IT Literacy: Confident using IT and computers to update digital records and reports.
  • Mobility: A valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
