If so, you’ll want to learn more about this opportunity… In this Developer Services Coordinator role, you will handle the design, coordination, reporting, and financial aspects of new mains, diversions, and services.
A high level of organisation and attention to detail is crucial, as you will process payments and developer enquiries, update logging systems, and maintain an overview of departmental work.
Your coordination skills will be essential for allocating tasks during team absences and liaising with internal departments to ensure designs, estimates, and delivery happen on time.
Previous customer-facing experience is required to seamlessly handle D-Mex communications, manage enquiries and complaints across all channels, and drive developer satisfaction.
Desirable technical and analytical skills will help you hit the ground running as you coordinate department activities and perform quality checks.
Main responsibilities
Overseeing all aspects related to Developer Services, ensuring high quality standards.
Carrying out investigations and site meetings with developer, highways authorities, environmental assessors and archaeologists to plan the most optimum route for new mains.
Providing developers with advice regarding requirements to water legislation, highways requirements, self-lay Co P, Diversionary works Co P, environmental impacts, and water quality requirements.
Processing incoming developer and highway enquiries for mains (self-lay and requisitions), diversions and services infrastructure.
Processing payments for all sites, diversion and connections relating to schemes being managed by Developer Services.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on departmental performance and prepare job packs and method statements for developer services schemes.
Ensuring that all work is covered in the event of holidays, sickness, or any other absence.
To update the departmental logging system and companies work management system.
Working with Engineering and Assets to ensure that offsite reinforcement schemes are delivered in line with onsite developer schemes.
Building and managing relationships with developers and ensuring high quality of work and standards are met.
Occasional attendance on bottled water stations as and when required. (In working hours)
You’ll need
- Achieved GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent)
- Customer service experience
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to coordinate and manage priorities well
- Technical and regulatory knowledge desirable
- Previous experience in utility sector desirable but not essential
