South East Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals and families in the southeastern region of Vermont. Our mission is to alleviate poverty and promote self-sufficiency through a variety of comprehensive programs and services.

We offer a range of assistance, including:

• Emergency Services: Providing immediate support for those facing crises, including food, shelter, and utility assistance.
• Housing Programs: Helping families secure stable housing through rental assistance and homeownership education.
• Employment Services: Offering job training, career counselling, and resources to enhance employability.
• Financial Literacy: Educating community members on budgeting, saving, and managing finances effectively.
