We are looking for an Involvement & Participation Coordinator who shares this commitment and can help create meaningful opportunities for involvement and participation across our services.
Working closely with service teams, you will ensure that the voices of people with lived experience of mental health or dementia are heard and embedded in our work. This includes supporting and engaging Lived Experience Consultants, volunteers, clients and carers. You will play a key role in championing our values around equity, diversity and inclusion, helping to ensure participation is accessible, representative and impactful.
You will line manage a team of Lived Experience Consultants, providing supervision, performance management and development opportunities. You will also support the delivery of service user forums across the organisation, and facilitate focus groups as required.
You will have experience of managing staff/volunteers, strong facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
