We’re looking for a highly organised Planning Legal Support Officer to join our shared Planning Legal service on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis. Supporting the Senior Planning Lawyer, you’ll play a key role in keeping planning legal processes running smoothly – managing emails and case files, preparing documents for signing and sealing, and acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing inboxes, case records and key deadlines
  • Preparing and coordinating legal documents for signing and sealing
  • Supporting the production and distribution of legal documentation
  • Liaising with Planning officers, external solicitors and developers
  • Helping ensure documents and processes are accurate and compliant

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong administrative and organisational experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Professional and discreet approach to handling information
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Experience in a legal, planning or local government setting is desirable but not essential.
