What You’ll Do

  • Provide a warm and knowledgeable welcome to all visitors.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the museum, including front-of-house duties.
  • Assist with exhibitions, family activities, school visits, and events.
  • Help maintain the security and safety of the building, collections, and visitors.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all public areas.
  • Process admissions, shop sales, and respond to visitor enquiries.

  • Have an interest in heritage, culture, or museums.
  • Are reliable, flexible, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Can work weekends, bank holidays, and occasional evenings as required.
